The Heart Behind Moffy & Co
At MOFFY & CO, every detail is infused with love and meaning – starting with our name. Inspired by our beloved family pet, Nala, whose nickname “Moffy” comes from the Japanese onomatopoeic word “mofu mofu,” meaning fluffy, the name reflects the joy and transformation that comes after a perfect groom.
Nala, with her cloud-like fluffiness, is the heart of MOFFY & CO. The “Co” represents Maiko and her family, who bring this dream to life.
But while Nala is our inspiration, it’s Maiko who does all the hard work. A qualified dog groomer from Japan, Maiko holds a two-year diploma in grooming and has been professionally grooming dogs in Australia for over five years.
Her gentle approach, attention to detail, and unwavering commitment to quality and professionalism have earned her an excellent reputation with a loyal community of returning customers.
